Recommendation for 2 days in Paris: Skip Versailles, Louvre & I’d spend your two days walking & taking the metro around Paris. You can visit Sacré-Cœur Basilica, Notre Dame, the Siene (skip the boat ride), see the Panthéon, the Palais Garnier Opera House, stop for lunch in Le Marais, have a glass of wine at a cafe and/or dinner in one of the arrondissements. Just be sure to walk for a while after dinner, as the Eiffel Tower lights up at night (on the hour) and is quite beautiful. add walking by the Jardin des Tuileries, then up Avenue des Champs-Élysées to the Arc de Triomphe. There is so, so much to see in Paris just walking around this beautiful city before going into a single museum or sight.
